stoneware wood soda fired bowl
natural wood soda glaze on the exterior with an applied glossy transparent green glaze interior
1 bowl was 'kissed' by another pot in the kiln. this has left a 'birthmark' on the exterior. this can happen at times in the wood kiln due to the aggressive atmosphere in the kiln during the firing process. we do not perceive this to be a flaw, it is an aesthetic preference.
