Thank you for visiting. Our brick-and-mortar is now available as an online shop (for the time being). We hope to re-open in the spring when we can open the windows and move about our showroom freely and safely in a nicely ventilated semi-outdoor space.
The next online release is TBD> we are back in production and we hope to pause on the virtual shop for the summer and get our brick and mortar doors open after we fire woody eight.
Below is a preview to allow you to see what will be listed. The "shop" will go live at the above time, until then the shop tab will be inaccessible and protected with a password so I may work on ensuring everything is listed correctly.
Items often go very quickly, releases have been know to sell out within minutes of launch. It's not easy to snag a pot and there is no guarantee that you have secured your item even if it is in you cart. The faster typer wins. To increase your chances consider the following:
Good luck! We know it can be intense, believe me, we feel it on our end, too! Each ware in this release has been made by my hands. This last firing was 24 hours in our wood soda kiln. Ry and I managed the firing from start to finish on a cold winter's day. We are passionate about our work and are already dreaming about our next firing. In the words of a clay peer "there is no such thing as a clay emergency." This is so very true, especially during these times, there is nothing that we should be fretting about it when it comes to wants and desires. Our focus is taking care of one another and spreading kindness to those around us. If you miss your chance to snag a ware with this release, please remember we are here to stay and new wares will always be on the horizon.

We have recently upgraded our online shop to include real-time shipping rates with Canada Post. You now have the option to select how your package will be shipped. We recommend expedited, it is usually the best value, arrives promptly and provides you with tracking.
- All orders are shipped out once a week on Mondays.
- Pick-ups are available 7 days a week, you schedule your preferred time and day at check out. No need to follow up with us unless there is a change to your day.
- Once we create your shipping label if there have been any over charges to the quote you were given at the time of check out we will refund any overages greater than $5.
Hello, thank you for landing here.
We are pausing on our online sales to reopen our brick-and-mortar. We are so excited and a little nervous. Times are bizarre and we intend to tread with caution. We ask for your trust in us and that you remain patient with us as we dip our toes in the water. Keeping us all well is our #1 priority.
We are beyond grateful for the online support, both from our local community and from our distant friends during the covid lockdown. Times have been difficult for us all, and you brought us hope through your support, YOU kept us afloat and we will never forget that!
Now, is a time where we can restore a glimpse of our dream. It is time to open our brick-and-mortar doors. We have missed seeing you; we have missed the smell of our antique furniture as it warms in the hot summer sun; we have missed stocking our shelves with fresh work; we miss the breeze through our screened windows; we miss looking out into our yard as you gander through our space and the chickens wander in the background; we have missed time spent with you, we have missed our brick-and-mortar deeply.
We step lightly into the re-opening of shed. We understand there are very polarizing view points on the current climate and we aren't here to discuss what we think is "right" or "wrong" about the pandemic life. What we are here to do is offer you a safe and controlled environment as we invite you back onto our property and into our home. Our home is our haven and sanctuary, therefore the parameters of our business operations will remain tight. We ask that you respect our decisions and protocols. We will not be flexing on the measures we have in place. Before booking your appointment please read our covid safety measures. If any of the following makes you uncomfortable then please wait until there is the future opportunity to purchase work online or wait until the world is restored to a safer, more pleasant time.
The following covid safety measures will be effective upon arrival at shed:
♡♡ Max 2 people per 25 min time slot. At the time of booking you will purchase one 25 min appointment. Should you choose to bring a friend, we must be notified (if not selected at the time of booking) to add the second person to your appointment. Please respect this measure. Do not try to slip an extra person in by showing up with them. It makes it awkward for us all when we have to deny your request. Our space is small and we have to share it with you.
★ Masks are mandatory! We understand there are people who require exceptions to this by-law. We feel you and we hear you. However, given that we are a home-based business we will not allow non-masked patrons into our home. There will be alternative methods to obtaining our work in the future, kindly wait until a more suitable method is available to you. Thank you for respecting our home and our wishes.
☞ Hand-sanitizing stations will be available to you prior to entry. You must apply ours or your own before you enter our shop.
$ We have never had any fancy payment machines. Debit has never been an option and the feature to tap doesn't work well in our shop, since most of you exceed the maximum tap amount. We have always preferred e-transfer as our main method of payment, and you beautiful folks have always graciously obliged. We would like to encourage that as our main method of payment once again. We understand sometimes credit is best, so we will have that option available to you. Please avoid bringing cash, we will not have a float readily available to offer change.
⨂ No time slots available outside what is listed. We will list new appointments when our schedule permits. Staying connected with us on social media is the best way to ensure you are catching the most updated shed information.
The world is upside down and we are all doing our best to cope. Let us remember to be kind to one another. Understand one another. Respect one another. Let's work together to ensure safety and balance.
We love you,
j+r and the rest of the shed pack.
