Please read our FAQs before contacting us. We hope this saves you some time and answers your questions quickly. I'm sorry, but we do not offer pottery classes. We are full-time working artists. Our gallery is hopping! We do our best to keep up, but our craft takes time and demand is high! For this reason, we do not participate in shows, sell online, or wholesale/consign our work. Thank you for the interest! We are two creative souls bursting with ideas, you will see a constant evolution in our work. We promise that our heart and soul goes into each piece created, and our designs are 100% born from our imaginations. Although, we don't doubt you also have a great ideas, custom orders are not something we do here at shed. This also means, we do not take orders on our current collections; we sell directly from our shelves as the work is made. "I'm interested in a dinnerware set, how do I acquire one?" Our goal as potters and artists is to be authentic and original. That means we push ourselves to constantly evolve and change the collections and forms that we create with each passing year. Sometimes we put out completed dinnerware sets, giving you a rare opportunity to purchase a set of dishes that "match". Most often our work is sold as individual pieces so you can collect wares as you see them and fall for them. Our philosophy at shed is to focus on creating small batches of finely crafted pieces. If we are the right potters for you then we know you will embrace the eclectic charm of mixing and matching our work to create your own individual set. "I'm from out of town can I order online? Can I prepay or will you hold for me?" We can't thank you enough for the interest and for wanting to obtain our work. The demand for our work exceeds what Ryan and I are capable of producing and we give it our all. We are clay artists and not a production factory. To create and maintain equal opportunity for all interested folks we operate first come first served. We understand it makes it difficult to obtain our work when you are not local and even the locals struggle to get here in time - wares sell quickly. We have learned that we can't make everyone happy and the best we can do is stay firm on our policies. First come, first served creates the best possible experience and opportunity for those understanding of our supply and demand issue. "You're only open on Wensdays and Saturdays?" That's correct. We are never idle, we are working full days in the studio to make the pots. We even work in between visitors on shop days, but those days prove to be less productive, so thank you for giving us the time and space to work uninterrupted which facilitates the flow of creativity and allows us to put our best foot forward. We hope to have answered your questions, but if there is still something you'd like to know, please use the contact form below to send us your inquiries. We will do our best to respond to you in a timely manner. Thank you for visiting our website. We hope to see you at shed very soon!
